the fact that gareth pugh is the front runner to take over mcqueens label is utterly .....unthinkable/kinda revolting.

Despite the fact i quite enjoyed his latest collection, it's so impossibly ambitious considering he only became a 'name' 4 years ago. The only person pugh can be (merely) associated with is rick owens, and the only team worthy of continuing the mcqueen label is his own design team, if it should continue at all.

Seriously, the inevitable backlash will be huge no matter who carries on the label...no one can adjust to the vision, thought, or process that mcqueen embodied..
yeah and, needless to say, too soon?


just because theyre both considered "avant garde" doesnt mean that it's an appropriate replacement
